ORYX
Dedicated to advancing the survivability and competitiveness of U.S. and NATO-aligned SOFs.
MISSION
At Oryx LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, our mission is to empower Special Operations Forces (SOFs) with the most advanced, realistic, and mission-focused training available. Through our cutting-edge facilitated Realistic Mission Training (RMT) courses, integrated mobile training and OPFOR supplement packages, and forward-deployable technical support cells, we are dedicated to developing and codifying the organic capabilities essential for operational success in current and near-future conflicts.
We specialize in fostering expertise in unsupported small-unit tactics, signature reduction, signals intelligence collection and exploitation, sUAS employment for ISR and kinetic operations, improvised multi-domain strike systems, and autonomous sensory support network integration.
Guided by a commitment to excellence and innovation, we strive to equip warfighters with the tools and knowledge to adapt, overcome, and excel in the most demanding environments.
Small Unit Capability Developmental Areas
1. Unsupported Small-Unit Tactics
We provide training in advanced small-unit tactics that prioritize independence and adaptability in austere environments. This capability focuses on enhancing team-level coordination, resourcefulness, and mission success without reliance on external support.
2. Signature Reduction
Our expertise in signature reduction enables units to minimize their detectability across physical, digital, and electromagnetic domains. This training includes techniques for concealing presence, managing operational footprints, and avoiding adversary detection and tracking.
3. Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Collection and Exploitation
We deliver tailored training on the collection and exploitation of signals intelligence, empowering teams to intercept, analyze, and exploit adversary communications for actionable insights. This includes real-time data processing and integration into mission planning.
4. sUAS Employment for ISR and Kinetic Operations
We specialize in the tactical deployment of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) as well as kinetic operations. Training covers system integration and planning, type-differentiated deployment, system signal management, and integration of kinetic-attack functionality using either supplied or externally sourced UAS and explosives.
5. Improvised Multi-Domain Strike Systems
Our expertise in improvised strike systems equips units to integrate unconventional and adaptable solutions across combat domains. This includes creative use of available resources to achieve precision and effectiveness in combat scenarios.
6. Autonomous Sensory Support Network Integration
Our advanced developments working group continuously interfaces with defense and aerospace technology firms to test and integrate autonomous sensory networks and battlespace development technologies to enhancing situational awareness through data fusion and layered analysis. This includes deploying sensors, processing real-time data, and improving decision-making processes in dynamic operational environments.
